Dear Nina, Thanks to you for coming to our parish this past week to help prepare them for Christmas.
I appreciate your sincerity, knowledge, visuals, and love for God. These all shined through your two talks.
I received many emails (see example below) singing your praises.

Hi Fr Kevin- I’m so glad that you (Corpus Christi) invited Dr. Corona to be an Advent speaker this year. I really enjoyed her presentation last night. It was really top notch and beautifully presented. I like how she spoke about each week of Advent. It was very memorable and a much appreciated break from our “many distractions” and other responsibilities.

When on Earth: Discovering Christian Spirituality in the Daily Happenings of Ordinary Life (A Book of Reflections)

We can’t always retreat to a spiritual or religious location to become more in touch with God and spirituality, and fortunately, we don’t have to. God is always in our midst here on Earth.

This book of the author's reflections and color illustrations will help readers discover that spirituality happens in all of the daily experiences of life, including the mundane, stressful, and the painful. We can find contentment and God’s will for us in our relationships, our work, and our travels. God’s voice is calling in our desires, dreams, frustrations, and anxieties.

When on Earth will resonate with all who long to discover the meaning and purpose of existence, and it will help readers recognize that each ordinary day provides countless opportunities to grow in faith, hope, and love.

Clear Bear

(A Children’s Picture Book)

CLEAR BEAR is a story about a bear with clear skin, which allows his heart to shine brightly and warm the others around him. The message is a timeless one: Deep inside, beneath our thick skin, fur of many different colors, and sometimes scary sharp teeth -- we are all the same! And if we allow our hearts to shine forth, we can warm the hearts of others and help them to "shed their fur" too. This hardcover children's picture book includes vibrant, colorful illustrations. Its themes of inclusion, equality, authenticity, friendship, community, and love are appropriate for children of all ages. After all, deep inside, we're all children too!

BOOK LIFE REVIEW-CLEAR BEAR! -Takeaway: This endearing picture book will find its way into the hearts of young children who wear their hearts on their sleeves.
